I have heard so many things about Infusionsoft. Some of them good, and some not so good. I know that quite a few of the internet marketers are now using it as well.
But, unfortunately, that doesn’t mean a lot to me.
I have a client that is in the process of switching everything over to Infusionsoft. So, that being said, I had to get on the bandwagon and start learning this. I had dug in my heels and was being “righteous” about it as it is very expensive and I could not see why anyone would pay that much money for this.
I know, I know, it has all the bells and whistles. It walks the walk and can hustle with the best of them, but it is not the be all and the end all! And after all of that, it is ecommerce and CRM.
I have become an expert with 1ShoppingCart and it’s other players. I know pretty much, what is what. It’s simple, but that’s not to say, I didn’t have to spend time learning it. But, again, it was simple.
Most of my clients use 1ShoppingCart.
So, along comes this upstart promising you the moon. Your CRM will skyrocket, your leads and lead structure will blow all competitors out of the water. You will be an ecommerce god. All for the low, low price of many $$$$$$$$.
Now, back to my client that is switching. Very simple request, please put a form on my website so I can capture email addresses, name, shipping info, etc. I would like to send them a free CD. Ok, I can do that, right? 2 hours later, I figure it out, test it all and it is good. Whew, learning curve.
It’s now 2 weeks later and she would like a report know who to send the free CD to. Easy right? No way! I can’t search by date, I have to set up tags, sequences, etc to finally get to the results. I find this all out via a 3-hour chat on the support module (I waited 30 minutes first.) I can tell you, there was steam coming out of my ears at certain points.
We did finally resolve this and at the end of the day, all is well.
So, the bottom line, simple form, simple request, complicated process
KISS!
BTW, I can attend their live training in Orlando, FL for 3 days for $595 or attend the virtual training for $0. Hmmm, which will be it?
