When I sent out the digital Thanksgiving card with the giant orange pumpkin earlier last week, it wasn’t a big deal. I just wanted to wish clients, friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving.

I was bowled over by the response! Of the 63 cards sent, 12 people replied with very nice messages. Several of them were clients. Two responded with e-postcards. One said “what an unexpected surprise”. Another said “It was so nice to hear from you, it’s been too long. Let’s have lunch.”

One client wrote back and said she wants to get together after Thanksgiving to discuss a new project she wants me to do for her.

Another client liked the gesture so much that she wants me to start sending digital cards to all of HER clients for the holidays, starting next week.

That’s went the light bulb went on.

I’m going to be adding this service to my business–sending digital greeting cards on your behalf to your clients, not only during the holidays, but at any time during the year when your customers least expect it. And just to say “I appreciate you”, “Thank you for your business” or for any other reason.
