One of first functions that is usually needed is list creation. Webforms are used to capture subscriber information. AWeber offers a fantastic selection of templates. After the webforms are set up, usually there is the import of a list(s) for other list management applications. In AWeber, this function usually takes less than 15 minutes.

Another way that I am able to assist many of our clients in using the list management functionality offered by AWeber. For example, Joan Stewart AKA The Publicity Hound, has needed list segmentation. Some examples are creating segments for “loyal subscribers”, those subscribers who consistently open newsletter broadcasts as well as “stale” subscribers who have not opened newsletter broadcasts in the past “x” days/weeks/months. These lists are used to target specific messages with enticement call-to-action promotions.

In addition to list segmentation, I compile subscriber activity metrics to use in isolating trends and popular posts. Further, engagement statistics are easy to extract and monitor. AWeber offers many measurement tools and that data is easily accessible for quick analysis and/or manipulation

Another feature that I have used for Joan is A/B testing. This has yielded some interesting results regarding the appearance and semantics of broadcast messages.
